I'm Donna. I write and style, concept and create. And I was totally going to start a blog in 2005.

Instead I got married, had two kids, and renovated two prehistoric homes, all while working as a magazine editor and freelance writer. I went from covering beauty products...
...to green living
...to weddings
...to home decor
...to travel
...to food
...to home decor all over again.

Clearly I'm pickier about the quality of my mantel vignette than my nightwear.

Today I’m the Style Director for Joss & Main, a wee little home-decor site with millions of customers (and some pretty amazing products). I live and breathe color and pattern, lamps and linens, chairs and chandeliers. I transform ideas into photos, pieces into looks, aspirational into attainable. I have Champagne taste, but I'm also a little bit cheap. Except when it comes to Champagne. And hotels. And toilet paper. 

My work and words have appeared in the Wall Street Journal, InStyle, Glamour, Real Simple, Country Living, the Huffington Post, SheKnows, Brit + Co., About.com, and now, Self Styled.
